Whether you’re hitting the books, teaching the masses, or sending your little ones off to school, here are some tips on how to keep your sanidad intact. So grab your cafecito or tecito and let’s dive in!
For our college and grad students:
- Organize like a boss: Get yourself a planner and color-code that bad boy!
- Self-care isn’t selfish: Treat yo’self to face masks and streaming binges. You deserve it!
- Find your squad: Surround yourself with people who support you, not stress you out.
- Embrace the siesta: Power naps are your new best friend.
Teachers and professors, I see you:
- Meal prep like a pro: We don’t have time for sad desk lunches. Batch cook your favorite meals!
- Set boundaries: Your time is precious. Learn to say “no” without the guilt trip.
- Classroom glow-up: Make your space as fabulous as you are.
- Find your Zen: Try meditation, yoga or prayer. Channel your inner chilled-out abuela or tía.
And for warrior parents out there:
- Routines are your ride-or-die: Set ’em up and stick to ’em like your life depends on it.
- Delegate: Your kids are capable. Put those little helpers to work!
- Wine o’clock is a thing: No judgment here. You’ve earned that glass of vino, just don’t overdo it.
- Connect with other parents: Find your comunidad.
Remember, take a deep breath, put on your favorite música, and tackle this school year like you’ve got this! 💃🏽📚
